It's all about celebrating women this month and I wanted to give a shout out to every person who identifies as a woman to know you are loved and there is space for you. I know these are difficult times in the best of circumstances. The politicization around our bodies is disturbing to say the least. Sending love and strength to all. 🙏🏽❤️🌈
Ps. posting a picture from a time when my health was challenged in a way I’d never imagined at this age. Grateful to have worked with a team who executed on a vision of a woman that I wanted to celebrate in all of it's ups and downs. Cause that's what we do. We persevere. 💪🏽🙏🏽👋🏽

I continue to get messages, emails, and notes daily from so many of you who love this book. I know it has taken on extra meaning for so many of us as we watched EX Senator Purdue deliberately mispronounce @kamalaharris. I know it hurt our hearts that her name was mispronounced even when she was being sworn in yesterday. 😬

So many of us have been there.

I so appreciate those who reached out and shared that you read #AlwaysAnjali yesterday in your classrooms and at home with your children, talking about how important it is to take the time to get each other's names right. And to celebrate what makes us special. It matters so much. ☺️

And for those who are asking how to continue to support...Here are little things you can do that don’t cost a dime: leave a review on Amazon/Good Reads. Ask your local indie bookstore/library to keep the book in stock. Post about the book within your networks. These little things make a big difference. 🙏🏽👊🏽📚
