After our fearless leader @irampbilalofficial and kick ass distributor @levelforward curated a stellar lineup of impact screenings and talk backs, the film is officially in the world for you to see. And don't take it from me- take it from the NY Times or NPR (so much press!), or so many more. I appreciate the many messages and emails I have already gotten from those who have watched the film. I know it has taken on extra meaning for so many of us as we watched EX Senator Purdue deliberately mispronounce @kamalaharris. I know it hurt our hearts that her name was mispronounced even when she was being sworn in yesterday. 😬

So many of us have been there.

I so appreciate those who reached out and shared that you read #AlwaysAnjali yesterday in your classrooms and at home with your children, talking about how important it is to take the time to get each other's names right. And to celebrate what makes us special. It matters so much. ☺️
